Last year, Napa Wine Tours brought you ideas for romantic wineries and restaurants to visit for Valentine’s Day in Napa Valley. This year we’re continuing the tradition of sharing romantic winery ideas and introducing ideas for romantic lodging accommodations.
Beringer Vineyards Historic Rhine House
Our list of romantic wineries begins with Beringer Vineyards. Beringer Vineyards presents two ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day, 2012. On Saturday, February 11th, Beringer invites guests to the winery’s Founders’ Room in the Rhine House for a decadent port and truffle pairing. On Tuesday, February 14th, Beringer presents their 9th Annual Valentine Dinner where each course will be perfectly paired with a Beringer wine. Cakebread Cellars
There is a wait list for the event at the second winery on our list – Cakebread Cellars. Cakebread hosts a Cooking from the Heart Valentine’s Day Cooking Class on February 11th for a special adventure with your special someone. Play in Cakebread’s kitchen then enjoy your creations paired with outstanding Cakebread Cellars wines. If you are one of many fans of Domaine Carneros, this year’s Share the Love Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance is one of many occasions to enjoy Domaine Carneros’ sparkling wines. Also on February 11th, this festive event includes a three-course dinner paired with Domaine Carneros wines. Guests will enjoy the sounds of a romantic jazz trio and will be inspired to invite their partners onto the dance floor between courses and after a sumptuous dessert. Click here to make reservations.
Castello di Amorosa
An event for wine club members takes place at Castello di Amorosa. Their Royal Hearts Gala takes place on February 11th. Napa River Inn
Now we turn our attention to romantic Napa Valley lodging. Napa is a romantic place throughout the year. The extra bonus in this package comes from the restaurants located on The Carneros Inn property – FARM, and Boonfly Café. BANK Cafe & Wine Bar at Westin Verasa Napa
If you have a preference for truffles, the Westin Verasa Napa has a treat perfect for you. Their Embrace Romance package features a Napa Valley sparkling wine and handmade truffles for two. Breakfast for two is included at the Westin’s BANK Café & Wine Bar or you can choose to dine in your room. Chef Ken Frank’s La Toque restaurant is located at the Westin Verasa. Although not included in the package, a surprise visit to La Toque adds a delicious and elegant touch your Valentine’s Day celebration.
