I have a small vegetable garden in my backyard. It requires a lot of work, attention, and tender loving care. When it comes time to harvest – I feel like celebrating! I can’t even begin to imagine what harvest must feel like on a grander scope to winemakers all across Napa Valley.
October is a busy month in Napa Valley. After waiting for the perfect time and the perfect conditions, many wineries have begun to harvest their grapes. It’s an exciting time! Lucky for wine-lovers, some Napa Valley wineries invite you to share in the joy of this special time of year.
One of the many Napa Valley wineries extending their celebration of this year’s harvest to everyone is Signorello Estate. The Signorello Estate Harvest Party takes place on Saturday, October 9, 2010. Visitors will enjoy Kobe beef burgers and Signorello current release wines. There’s no doubt everything will be delicious, but what most visitors will be looking forward to is the opportunity to taste the newly released 2007 Padrone. Since 1997, Padrone, Signorello’s Estate’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon created as a tribute to Ray Signorello Sr., has consistently earned awards and favorable reviews. The 2007 Padrone has already received 93 points from Wine Spectator and 94 points from Robert Parker. Ray Signorello Jr., proprietor and winemaker, along with Pierre Birebent, winemaker and vineyard manager since 1998, together with their team, definitely have reason to celebrate!
Join in the spirit of celebration of this special time in a special way by contacting Napa Wine Tours for your private transportation for this event in Napa Valley.
