Swanson Vineyards proprietors W. Clarke Swanson Jr. and Elizabeth Pipes Swanson will be your hosts for this special evening. BarBersQ Executive Chef, Joey Ray, along with guest Chef Johnny Blancher from Ye Olde College Inn in New Orleans have created a menu that includes Alaskan King Crab Legs, barbequed shrimp, Oyster Rockefeller, lobster, gumbo, crawfish, Porterhouse Berkshire Pork Chops, jambalaya, collard greens, red beans and rice, cornbread, fried bread pudding Po-Boy, and more. Guests will be able to choose Swanson Vineyards wines by the glass or choose a flight of three. Included on the evening’s wine list will be Swanson Vineyards Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Viognier, Merlot, Petite Sirah, and more including wines only available at the winery.

Swanson Vineyards was named Winery of Year for 2010 by Wine & Spirits who also placed Swanson Vineyards on their Top 100 Wines of the World. Swanson Vineyards was one the first wineries in Napa Valley to make Merlot. Today, the winery mainly produces Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Grigio, and smaller lots of other wines. The talents of winemakers Chris Phelps and Marco Capelli have created award-winning wines that have earned Swanson Vineyards a loyal following.
